.41 Cal 210 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , , ,
Designed for the 41 Remington Magnum revolver cartridge and introduced in 1970, these bullets made up one fifth of the total number of Sierra handgun bullets offered in that year. In 1984, the design was upgraded with the famous Sierra Power Jacket to make these excellent bullets even better. The 41 Remington Magnum cartridge and handguns chambering it have not become highly popular. Nevertheless, these true magnum bullets, which provide fast expansion and deep penetration on game, are suitable for all North American game normally hunted with a handgun. Shooters of 41 Action Express handguns will find these bullets very useful also, and should refer to Sierra Bullet's Rifle & Handgun Reloading manual for proper loads. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct typographic, photographic and/or descriptive errors.

.284 Cal 183 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of Sierra's 7mm 183 grain HPBT (#1983). A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention. To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in match rifle chamber throats. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz BlitzKing, or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x8” or faster. This bullet was introduced in October 2015.

    .25 Cal 90 Gr. BlitzKing

    , , ,
Our 25cal 90gr BlitzKing #1616 was built for rapid expansion on small to medium thin-skinned vermin. This performance comes from a precision made, thin match jacket, the same performance BlitzKings are known for in other diameters. The addition of the boat tail combined with the shape of the nose gives it a high BC, in fact it is just shy of our 100gr MatchKing. It has proven to be an excellent shooter, capable of match accuracy from a wide variety of cartridges. It even has potential from the 25-45 Sharps, provided the magazine length is long enough for it to fit correctly. This bullet was introduced in 2011.

.284 Cal 100 Gr. HP Varminter

    , , ,
It has been said that a prairie dog shooter learns more about his rifle, cartridge and scope in one day than a deer hunter can learn in a lifetime. The 100 grain Hollow Point #1895 bullet allows off-season practice on varmints with any 7mm hunting rifle. This light, thin-jacketed bullet is exceptionally accurate, and the large hollow point makes it devastatingly effective on all varmints. Effective in cartridges ranging from the diminutive 7mm BR to the potent 7mm magnums, the lightweight of this bullet allows high velocity with low recoil for maximum enjoyment. It is accurate enough for use in Hunter Benchrest competition, and it is suitable for all standard 7mm barrel twist rates. In handguns, the 100 grain #1895 Hollow Point bullet is a light bullet for the varmint and small game hunter, and should be used for any application that requires certain expansion. This is the lightest 7mm caliber bullet currently available, and the high velocity coupled with Sierra's large hollow point makes it unbeatable for fast, reliable expansion and pinpoint accuracy. Although best restricted to coyote and smaller-sized game, it could be used for small deer with proper shot placement. It is too light weight for serious use for full-size silhouettes but excellent for other target applications. The #1895 was introduced in 1988.

    303 Cal 150 Gr. SPT Pro-Hunter

    , , ,
These bullets utilize the nominal 30 caliber dimensions common to the martial arms of several foreign entities. Most of these have found their way to the United States as either war trophies or were imported as military surplus in recent years. These include the British Lee-Enfields, the late-war Japanese Arisakas, the Russian Moisin-Nagants, SKS and AK-47s and their various clones from former Soviet bloc countries. The cartridges associated with these weapons are the 303 British, the 7.7mm Arisaka, the 7.62x54R and, of course, the ubiquitous 7.62x39mm. Most of these guns use a .311" diameter projectile but it is prudent to slug the bore if any doubt exists. Given the wartime production conditions and occasionally questionable pedigrees of some of these rifles, this procedure is a worthwhile investment. Many of these rifles are capable of delivering decent accuracy and are powerful enough to serve for use on big game. This bullet adds some much needed versatility to these often overlooked but very capable cartridges for hunting. Positive feed characteristics are required for all semi-automatic rifles using the 7.62x39mm cartridge, and Sierra's profiled ogive point shape provides flawless functioning. The 150 grain #2300 has Sierra's unique double taper heavy jacket and Spitzer profile. They have excellent accuracy, together with deep penetration and excellent expansion on medium and large game. The Spitzer shape provides a flat trajectory and high energy delivered downrange. These bullets are suitable for all of the larger .311 inch diameter service cartridges, such as the 303 British, 7.7mm Arisaka and 7.65mm Mauser.

    .270 Cal 175 Gr. TGK

    , , ,
Sierra’s new 175 gr Tipped GameKing is designed to be tough and used for heavy duty hunting work. It will hit like a hammer on big game from the great 270 Winchester as well as be right at home in any magnum cartridge. It will use a 1-8” or faster twist rate to stabilize because of its long length, but the BC’s are also extremely high because of that. The higher BC’s make it very efficient in flight so it will give a high impact velocity at distance. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×8” or faster.
