    6MM .243 CALIBER 100 GR. SBT

In rifles, this 100 grain #1560 Spitzer Boat Tail bullet with a heavy, double-tapered jacket ensures adequate penetration with reliable expansion on medium game. It is the boat tail counterpart to the flatbase #1540 Pro-Hunter bullet, but when ranges exceed 300 yards, the #1560 bullet is the choice for best downrange performance. This bullet is exceptionally accurate, and it may be used in 6mm cartridges, such as the 243 Winchester, 6mm Remington and magnums. It also is a very fine bullet for larger varmints at long ranges. For handguns, the 100 grain #1560 Spitzer Boat Tail bullet is too "hard" for use in the field on game, because it will not expand adequately at the moderate velocities attainable from all cartridges except the largest wildcats. This bullet will perform to outstanding levels in long-range target or silhouette competition from barrels with standard twist rates.

    6MM .243 CALIBER 107 GR. HPBT MATCHKING

Since its introduction several years ago, the 107 grain HPBT MatchKing bullet #1570 has been used successfully in a variety of competitive disciplines. This bullet has set new records and won national championships in such diverse competitions as National Match High Power and Silhouette. These competitions all have at least one requirement in common: extreme accuracy at long range. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×8” or faster.

Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of our new 6mm 110 grain HPBT (#1575). A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention. To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in many match rifle chamber throats. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities on varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. The #1575 was introduced in December 2016. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x7” or faster.

    .375 CALIBER 200 GR. FN

    200 Gr.

    , ,
For rifles, this bullet is designed specifically for the 375 Winchester cartridge. It has Sierra's unique PowerJacket and provides outstanding terminal performance. Sierra's Power Jacket ensures positive but even expansion in conjunction with good penetration on medium to heavy game. The cannelure location is correct for crimping, and the flat point was designed for use in tubular magazines. This bullet is also very effective in the 375 H&H Magnum, but velocity should be kept around 2200 fps to avoid over-expansion in game. For handguns, although the bullet is designed for rifles chambered for the 375 Winchester cartridge, it quickly found a home in the 375 Super Magnum revolver. Thompson Center currently chambers the T/C Contender for the 375 Winchester as well. Designed for the modest velocities generated by 375 Winchester rifles, this bullet performs very well in a handgun. The large amount of exposed lead at the tip and the PowerJacket skiving assure quick, even expansion at all suggested velocities and ranges, making this bullet the best choice in this caliber for field use on game. Traditional Sierra accuracy assures success on medium to large game and silhouettes. The #2900 was introduced in 1987.

This heavy bullet has Sierra's classic spitzer boat tail shape for high ballistic coefficient and high ballistic efficiency downrange. It delivers accuracy well under one minute of angle. This bullet has an extremely heavy double-tapered jacket and an extremely hard core for absolute control of expansion on heavy game. It is suitable for all North American big game from elk and moose to the large and dangerous Kodiak bear and suitable for all large thin-skinned African game in rifles firing the 375 H&H Magnum cartridge. The excess velocity of maximum loads in the 378 Weatherby Magnum cartridge makes this bullet too light for close range and dangerous game. However, loaded to the correct velocity levels, this bullet has proven itself in the game fields around the world.

This bullet was developed after extensive research and a year and a half of testing by Sierra, and it exemplifies our commitment to quality and performance of our products. The jacket of this bullet is formed from the heaviest Sierra cup through Sierra's unique four-station draw to very precise dimensions. A very hard 3% antimony lead alloy core is inserted, and the bullet is given the classic Sierra SBT shape. Designed especially for the 375 H&H Magnum cartridge, this bullet has excellent expansion and deep penetration on heavy game at all ranges for a wide variety of hunting situations. Sierra has received many reports of 5-shot groups at 100 yards that measured less than half an inch extreme spread! An exceptionally high ballistic coefficient and smashing down-range performance combine to make this an ideal bullet in a 375 H&H Magnum or 378 Weatherby Magnum for the largest game on the North American continent and for heavy thin-skinned African game.

This bullet was designed for a custom long-range application and is the largest MatchKing® we produce. We knew the 11 caliber ogive, 9 degree boat tail and Sierra's famously forgiving ogive would make this bullet a big hit with our big bore long range customers. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x12” or faster.
