.303 Caliber/7.7mm (.311) 174 gr. HPBT MatchKing

Sierra MatchKing BulletsDesigned in the famous MatchKing® tradition and intended to give shooters of this caliber a world-class target bullet, this projectile fills a long-neglected niche. With this bullet, Sierra has given shooters around the world MatchKing® quality in this caliber. An excellent target bullet for the 303 Lee-Enfield service rifles, the #2315 is well appreciated by shooters in England, Canada and Australia.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their heavier jackets will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

The #2315 was introduced in 1996.

This bullet performs best of all brands/types I have tried in my Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk I. With metal sights I have shot 1.5/8" groups at 100 yards, and I average about 2" groups. These are all 5 shot groups.
