6.5mm/.264 Caliber (.264) 130 gr. HPBT

Customers have been asking us for years to make a 6.5 mm and 7mm version of our very popular 30 caliber 165 grain HPBT GameKing and we are happy to say we have fulfilled that request.  Just like their 30 caliber cousin, these bullets will be ideal for midsized game with standard and magnum calibers.  The thicker jacket promotes deep penetration, while the skives at the meplat provide reliable expansion.

I have been shooting this bullet for a couple years now in a 6.5/47 at ranges from 75 to over 500 yards and have had zero problems with expansion or penetration. The bullet is very well constructed and extremely accurate.

Sub MOA capable, no tips to dent or melt, wide application of effective velocities windows, use it in my Ruger 77 Hawkeye with 26" barrel starting velocity 3250 FPS average with Winchester 780 Supreme. Holds up at these velocities well, deer shot at 80 or so yards bullet completely passes through .without fragmenting.

Using this bullet in a .260 Rem with an 8 twist and it is very accurate with multiple powders. My first deer with it was a MN white tail at 180 yards quartering slightly to. Entrance was just about an inch straight above the elbow and the exit mid rib with a perfect silver dollar size hole. The smallish buck took two hops and landed stone dead in the prickly ash 15 yards from POI. Wound channel was perfect and bruising on the impacted shoulder was very minor. in short, Sierra has created the perfect deer bullet, again.

I've used the 165 G.K. in my .308 w/ devastating results....only reason it's not 5 stars is that i haven't killed anything w/ it YET..very accurate in my 6.5 Creedmoor. Thanks Sierra & thank you Paul Box!!
