.22 Caliber (.224) 52 gr. HPBT MatchKing

Sierra MatchKing BulletsFor rifles, the 52 grain #1410 bullet offers the shooter all the advantages of a boat tail design for 200 to 300 yard competition.

In handguns chambering cartridges in 22 caliber, the 52 grain #1410 MatchKing® bullets often deliver superior accuracy in target competition.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

The #1410 was introduced in 1970.

Using this bullet in a CZ Model 527 in .223, over 22 gr. of H4198 I have busted aspirin at 90 yards. And drops coyotes like lightening hit them. My farthest shot at a coyote was 212 yards (trotting). I had a friend suggest this bullet and H4198. He told me "If your gun doesn't shoot this load, sell the gun, it won't shoot anything." I agree.

Great bullet. Best 5 shot group @ 100 yds in my Tikka T3 Varmint is .176". Consistently shoots .25" or less if I do my job.

Very accurate. Punches tight groups at 100 yds. I usually shoot 5 round groups and sometimes get lucky with 1/2 inch groups; then again sometimes a flyer appears and ruins the punched hole. Oh well!

First I was a bit hesitant to try these in my 22-250. I will never look back, or by anything else. I can consistently get tight groups. Therese bullets are supper consistent and let me get groups that are always under .5 MOA

Was very happy bench shooting BlitzKings with .500 to .625 groups.at 100b yds. Gave the MatchKings a try and groups shrunk to .375 to .500 but have had several .250 groups when I'm relaxed and into it.
