.22 Caliber (.224) 69 gr. HPBT MatchKing

Sierra MatchKing BulletsDesigned for Service Rifle competition in the M16A2/AR-15A2, our 22 caliber bullets have set an incredible number of new national records.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their heavier jackets will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

The #1380 was introduced in 1984.

This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x10” or faster.

The perfect bullet for my Clark gator! 25.3 grs of Varget produces 2860 at the muzzle and .5 MOA all the way out to 309 yards! Couldn't ask for a better performer! Just don't expect expansion... Would not make a good hunting round for anything other than squirrels...

Excellent Bullet put 23.5 grains of ARCOMP behind them the 5 I made to test were very accurate. Also made 3 with 5 grains of Trail Boss they were stable with my barrel 1 in 7 twist Crome lined very quite suppressed.

I load these with varget powder. 5 shoot groups will consistently be in the 5/8" range out of my AR 15. What more can I ask for?
