    , , , ,
Designed for the 41 Remington Magnum revolver cartridge and introduced in 1970, these bullets made up one fifth of the total number of Sierra handgun bullets offered in that year. Nevertheless, these true magnum bullets, which provide fast expansion and deep penetration on game, are suitable for all North American game normally hunted with a handgun. Shooters of 41 Action Express handguns will find these bullets very useful also, and should refer to Sierra Bullet's Rifle & Handgun Reloading manual for proper loads. .338 Cal 250 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , , ,
This bullet is designed in the MatchKing® tradition, and manufactured to MatchKing® standards, and intended for rifles shooting magnum cartridges, such as the 338 Winchester Magnum and 338-378 Weatherby. This bullet will shoot well in 338 Winchester Magnum barrels with 1x12" twist rate. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

.264 Cal 150 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of the 6.5mm 150 grain HPBT (#1755). A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention. To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in many match rifle chamber throats. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x7.5” or faster. This bullet was introduced in October 2017.

The 6.5mm/.264 inch bore has recently enjoyed a resurgence of interest. Several rifle manufacturers currently produce 6.5x55mm sporters, exposing a new generation of shooters to this famous old Scandinavian service and hunting cartridge. It is appropriate for the magnum cartridges as well as smaller capacity cartridges in this caliber. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. The 6.5mm/.264 inch bore has recently enjoyed a resurgence of interest. Several rifle manufacturers currently produce 6.5x55mm sporters, exposing a new generation of shooters to this famous old Scandinavian service and hunting cartridge. Competitive HighPower and Silhouette shooters have also shown great interest in the 6.5mm bore size. The 120 grain #1725 bullet is designed for BenchRest and HighPower competitions to 600 yards in medium capacity 6.5mm rifle cartridges. In handguns, the 120 grain #1725 MatchKing® bullet has been very successful on the silhouette range and has proven itself on other targets. Because of its high ballistic coefficient, it delivers high momentum downrange and has low sensitivity to crosswinds. It has been the choice of handgun shooters worldwide. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

.264 Cal 123 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
The 6.5mm 123 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail (1727) was designed to fill the gap for a mid-weight, high B.C. bullet for the ever-increasing 6.5mm long-range crowd. This bullet is a popular choice for long-range target and Silhouette customers. Keeping the long-range design in mind, we built this bullet with a longer ogive, smaller meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce wind-drift. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their heavier jackets will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

    .264 Cal 107 Gr. TMK

    , ,
Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms. The #7407 was introduced in November 2017.
