10mm 150 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , , ,
These bullets are designed to meet even the most demanding shooter's needs. This bullet was introduced in 1988. They provide rapid, controlled expansion for defensive use or on game up to large varmints at ranges out to 100 yards. Their unique design also produces excellent accuracy for competitive events. The International Practical Shooting Confederation shooter needs only 1100 fps muzzle velocity with the 150 grain #8430 bullet to make "major." One also can use any of these bullets in an "old timer," the 38-40 Winchester (38 WCF), made popular in both single-action revolvers and rifles for Cowboy Shooting. However, these bullets are not legal for competition. Special provisions may be required for crimping (since these bullets have no cannelure for roll crimping) and expanding ball size in reloading dies for the 38-40. The #8430 was introduced in 1988. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .25 Cal 100 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
This 100 grain 25 caliber HPBT MatchKing® bullet #1628 has been designed with the characteristic MatchKing® quality features, a thin jacket for concentricity and uniformity, and precise weight control. It is appropriate for cartridges like the 257 Roberts Improved, 25-06, 257 Weatherby Magnum and 1x10" twist 250-3000 Savage. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

With the flat base, it also has potential as a precision match bullet with fans of the quarter bore that shoot closer ranges. It has potential from the 25-45 Sharps provided the magazine length is long enough for it to fit correctly and is also right at home in cartridges as fast as the 257 Weatherby Magnum.
