10mm 150 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , , ,
These bullets are designed to meet even the most demanding shooter's needs. This bullet was introduced in 1988. They provide rapid, controlled expansion for defensive use or on game up to large varmints at ranges out to 100 yards. Their unique design also produces excellent accuracy for competitive events. The International Practical Shooting Confederation shooter needs only 1100 fps muzzle velocity with the 150 grain #8430 bullet to make "major." One also can use any of these bullets in an "old timer," the 38-40 Winchester (38 WCF), made popular in both single-action revolvers and rifles for Cowboy Shooting. However, these bullets are not legal for competition. Special provisions may be required for crimping (since these bullets have no cannelure for roll crimping) and expanding ball size in reloading dies for the 38-40. The #8430 was introduced in 1988. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .22 Cal / 5.56mm 69 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
Designed for Service Rifle competition in the M16A2/AR-15A2, our 22 caliber bullets have set an incredible number of new national records. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. The #1380 was introduced in 1984. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x10” or faster.

.22 Cal 95 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , , ,
Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of the 22 caliber 95 grain HPBT (#1396). A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention. To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in many match rifle chamber throats. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x6.5” or faster. This bullet was introduced in January 2018.

    .22 Cal 60 Gr. TMK

    , , , ,
Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms. The introduction of the 60 Gr. TMK helped to fill a gap in the 22 caliber Match bullet offering. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1×10” or faster. The #7160 was introduced in 2018.
