This 100 grain 25 caliber HPBT MatchKing® bullet #1628 has been designed with the characteristic MatchKing® quality features, a thin jacket for concentricity and uniformity, and precise weight control. It is appropriate for cartridges like the 257 Roberts Improved, 25-06, 257 Weatherby Magnum and 1×10″ twist 250-3000 Savage.
While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

For rifles, this bullet is designed for explosive expansion in varmints and small game and with accuracy characteristic of the MatchKing bullets. The nose tips of this bullet is made of a proprietary acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tips improve the ballistic coefficient over the traditional flat-base Spitzer bullet design. The 40 grain BlitzKing #1440 has a flat base. All the BlitzKing bullets in 22 caliber are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4400 fps.
For handguns, the BlitzKing bullet is especially effective in varmints and small game for the full range of centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. They have outstanding accuracy, a flat trajectory and superb expansion in small animals even with the smaller-capacity cartridges. The 40 grain #1440 bullet is recommended for smaller cartridges, such as the 22 Hornet up to the 222 Remington.

The 55 grain #1502 has a flatbase. The jackets are thin for enhanced accuracy and explosive expansion, but are capable of withstanding high velocities. These bullets are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4000 fps.
For handguns chambered in 6mm TCU, 6mm PPC, 6mm Benchrest Remington, these BlitzKing bullets are superbly accurate and have devastating expansion on varmints and small game at velocities achievable in these handgun cartridges in single-shot pistols.
