.30 Cal 165 Gr. HPBT GameKing

    , ,
For rifles in 30 caliber, this 165 grain #2140 Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet, which is patterned after the world-famous 168 grain MatchKing bullet, was designed for shooters who desire a hunting version of that famous MatchKing. It is slightly "harder" than its 165 grain Spitzer Boat Tail counterpart and will give superior penetration and good expansion on medium game with excellent accuracy. This is a good medium-weight bullet choice for shooters of 30 caliber magnum rifles who desire a bullet that will not deform at the point. For handguns chambering 30 caliber cartridges, this 165 grain #2140 bullet is "hard" and will expand in medium to large game only when driven at a muzzle velocity of 2500 fps or more, which is achievable in the 308 Winchester cartridge in the Remington XP-100 handgun or a similar combination. It can, of course, be used for handgun silhouettes or other target purposes.

    .30 Cal 150 Gr. SPT Pro-Hunter

    , ,
The 150 grain #2130 has the Sierra's unique double-tapered hunting jacket that has been field proven under all conceivable conditions. The 150 grain #2130 bullet is best suited to medium game. This bullet is extremely accurate, providing an undeniable edge in the game fields. Reliable expansion and deep penetration blended with Sierra's classic Spitzer flatbase profile makes these the bullets of choice with many 30 caliber riflemen. For handguns, Sierra's Pro-Hunter design is generally considered too "hard" for all but the most powerful of the 30 caliber handgun cartridges. Handguns chambered for the 308 Winchester cartridge or cartridges of similar size can use these bullets over maximum hunting loads at short range. Due to their flat base design, Pro-Hunter bullets are an excellent choice for a cartridge with limited powder capacity and a short neck, because these bullets intrude into the powder space less than a boat tail.

.243 Cal 85 Gr. SPT Varminter

    , ,
In rifles, this 85 grain Spitzer bullet has an excellent flat base design with high-velocity capabilities for all 6mm cartridges. This game bullet is suitable for small deer and antelope, but it must be used with proper shot placement. For handguns, this bullet with a thin jacket and lots of exposed lead is ideal for all centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. It will range in expansion from being a varmint bullet at Hornet handgun velocities to an explosive "Blitz" style Varminter at 223 Remington velocities.
