Several rifle manufacturers currently produce 6.5x55mm sporters, exposing a new generation of shooters to this famous old Scandinavian service and hunting cartridge. The 120 grain #1725 bullet is designed for BenchRest and HighPower competitions to 600 yards in medium capacity 6.5mm rifle cartridges. In handguns, the 120 grain #1725 MatchKing® bullet has been very successful on the silhouette range and has proven itself on other targets. Because of its high ballistic coefficient, it delivers high momentum downrange and has low sensitivity to crosswinds. It has been the choice of handgun shooters worldwide. The 40 grain BlitzKing #1440 has a flat base. All the BlitzKing bullets in 22 caliber are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4400 fps. For handguns, the BlitzKing bullet is especially effective in varmints and small game for the full range of centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. They have outstanding accuracy, a flat trajectory and superb expansion in small animals even with the smaller-capacity cartridges. The 40 grain #1440 bullet is recommended for smaller cartridges, such as the 22 Hornet up to the 222 Remington. The #1440 was introduced in 1999.
