.50 Cal 350 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Our 350gr JHP #5350 was designed for use in the 500 Smith & Wesson with a cannelure placement ideally suited for this cartridge. It was designed with a large, deep hollow point to create expansion, for personal protection from vermin with ill intent, but it has since proven to be an accurate and tough bullet that hunters have come to rely on. They’ve been using this bullet successfully on a wide variety of animals from wild boar to big bears. Because it has such a wide meplat, it will also work safely from a tubular magazine if you happen to have one chambered in the 500. The faster velocity produced from a rifle length barrel will also give it the possibility of an expansion quality on pigs and whitetail sized game. This bullet was introduced in 2004. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. .50 Cal 400 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , ,
Our 400gr JSP #5400 has a cannelure placement ideally suited for use from a 500 Smith & Wesson cartridge. It has a tough lead core made with a heavy antimony and a thick jacket designed for deep penetration on the largest of animals. Large game like moose or brown bear won’t be any issue for this bullet, but it may be too tough to give a reliable expansion quality through smaller animals. Revolvers have been the primary firearm to load this bullet into but it is equally at home in rifles chambered in this and other cartridges also. The meplat is wide enough to work well from a lever action using a tubular magazine, and because of the higher muzzle velocity, it will give a better expansion quality also. On that subject, it is literally a half inch hole even with no expansion and will take game animals with authority. This bullet was introduced in 2004. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Designed for the hunter requiring accuracy, penetration and dependable expansion from a 44 Remington Magnum revolver, Sierra introduced the 240 grain #8610 Jacketed Hollow Cavity SportsMaster bullets in 1970. These bullets were upgraded with Sierra's PowerJacket in 1982. The dependable Jacketed Hollow Cavity and PowerJacket design makes these bullets extremely versatile. They are true magnum bullets, featuring a heavy jacket and 1 1/2% antimony core, yet they will expand reliably at 44 Special velocities. These bullets are extremely effective on up to deer-size game. 44 Cal 300 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Designed for hunting, specifically for large bears, and for Handgun Metallic Silhouette competition with magnum calibers, this 300 grain #8630 Jacketed Soft Point bullet was introduced in 1989. Its construction ensures deep penetration on the largest game due to a heavy jacket and extremely hard 6% antimony core. This is one of the heaviest bullets Sierra produces and should be used in a 44 Magnum, 445 Super Mag, or a similar cartridge. It has an established reputation in the game fields of North America and is considered to be the bullet for hunting dangerous game with a handgun. It is not, however, recommended for deer-size game because of its hardness. Because this bullet has a cannelure and can be roll-crimped, it may be loaded in cartridges and used in modern rifles with tubular magazines. When seated to the cannelure, this bullet will have an overall length that does not feed well in lever action rifles. Recommended OAL of 1.735" in 44 Magnum. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .22 Cal 55 Gr. HPBT GameKing

    , ,
For rifles, the 55 grain #1390 Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet has been designed for the shooter who prefers the rapid expansion characteristics of the hollow point design. This bullet delivers devastating expansion on varmints and small game, and in many rifles it routinely delivers match-grade accuracy, which are vital considerations for long-range varmint shooting. The large, open point makes this a very dependable bullet for all 22 centerfire cartridges, except the very smallest where case capacity limits muzzle velocities with 55 grain bullets. In handguns, this Hollow Point Boat Tail 55 grain #1390 bullet with its cavernous opening can be used for short-range varmint shooting in handguns chambering the 223 Remington or larger cartridges. This bullet is built with Sierra's high velocity design and is capable of extremely high accuracy. The #1390 was introduced in 1984.

.22 Cal 40 Gr. HP Varminter

    , , ,
For rifles, this high-velocity bullet is designed to give precision accuracy with the explosive expansion of Sierra's Varminter-style construction. Although the bullet may prove to be somewhat "hard" at Hornet velocities, it can be extraordinarily accurate at these lower velocity levels. For handguns, although this bullet is of hollow point construction, we cannot recommend them for hunting purposes. This bullet should be considered for ranges in excess of 125-150 yards. Also works very well as a target bullet. The #1385 was introduced in 1984.
