.50 Cal 400 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , ,
Our 400gr JSP #5400 has a cannelure placement ideally suited for use from a 500 Smith & Wesson cartridge. It has a tough lead core made with a heavy antimony and a thick jacket designed for deep penetration on the largest of animals. Large game like moose or brown bear won’t be any issue for this bullet, but it may be too tough to give a reliable expansion quality through smaller animals. Revolvers have been the primary firearm to load this bullet into but it is equally at home in rifles chambered in this and other cartridges also. The meplat is wide enough to work well from a lever action using a tubular magazine, and because of the higher muzzle velocity, it will give a better expansion quality also. On that subject, it is literally a half inch hole even with no expansion and will take game animals with authority. This bullet was introduced in 2004. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. .50 Cal 350 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Our 350gr JHP #5350 was designed for use in the 500 Smith & Wesson with a cannelure placement ideally suited for this cartridge. It was designed with a large, deep hollow point to create expansion, for personal protection from vermin with ill intent, but it has since proven to be an accurate and tough bullet that hunters have come to rely on. They’ve been using this bullet successfully on a wide variety of animals from wild boar to big bears. Because it has such a wide meplat, it will also work safely from a tubular magazine if you happen to have one chambered in the 500. The faster velocity produced from a rifle length barrel will also give it the possibility of an expansion quality on pigs and whitetail sized game. This bullet was introduced in 2004. 44 Cal 180 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , ,
Designed for the hunter requiring accuracy, penetration and dependable expansion from a 44 Remington Magnum revolver, Sierra introduced the 180 grain #8600 in 1970. These bullets were upgraded with Sierra's PowerJacket in 1982. The dependable Jacketed Hollow Cavity and PowerJacket design makes these bullets extremely versatile. They are true magnum bullets, featuring a heavy jacket and 1 1/2% antimony core, yet they will expand reliably at 44 Special velocities. These bullets are extremely effective on up to deer-size game. Because these bullets have flat noses and cannelures, they may be roll-crimped for use in revolvers and all rifles with tubular magazines. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. 44 Cal 300 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Designed for hunting, specifically for large bears, and for Handgun Metallic Silhouette competition with magnum calibers, this 300 grain #8630 Jacketed Soft Point bullet was introduced in 1989. Its construction ensures deep penetration on the largest game due to a heavy jacket and extremely hard 6% antimony core. This is one of the heaviest bullets Sierra produces and should be used in a 44 Magnum, 445 Super Mag, or a similar cartridge. It has an established reputation in the game fields of North America and is considered to be the bullet for hunting dangerous game with a handgun. It is not, however, recommended for deer-size game because of its hardness. Because this bullet has a cannelure and can be roll-crimped, it may be loaded in cartridges and used in modern rifles with tubular magazines. When seated to the cannelure, this bullet will have an overall length that does not feed well in lever action rifles. Recommended OAL of 1.735" in 44 Magnum. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .45 Cal 240 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , ,
The 240 grain #8820 Jacketed Hollow Cavity SportsMaster bullet was introduced in 1977 in response to requests for a "standard" weight bullet for the 45 Colt cartridge. The skived PowerJacket was added in 1984, making this bullet an excellent choice for 45 Colt vintage or modern handguns. Vintage models usually had a .454 inch diameter bore. However, modern Colt, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, and most other handguns, including replicas of the Colt Single Action Army, will have barrels with a .451 inch bore. This bullet can be used in vintage 45 Colt handguns, but sizing cases may require special attention in older reloading dies. The 240 grain #8820 bullet has a cannelure for roll crimping, and it may be loaded into 45 Colt cartridges to be used in rifles with tubular magazines. This bullet is very effective for hunting because of the reliable expansion of the hollow cavity PowerJacket design and trademark Sierra accuracy. The reliable expansion characteristics of this bullet make it suitable for cartridges ranging from the 45 ACP up through moderate loads (up to 1400 fps) in the 454 Casull for either hunting or target competition. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .22 Cal 55 Gr. SPT Varminter

    , , ,
In rifles, this bullet is fully capable of producing 1/4 minute of angle accuracy at velocities that would destroy most other bullets. Each bullet has the Spitzer point shape and a flat base. These bullets are the choice of many accomplished varmint hunters. All feature precisely drawn jackets to assure pinpoint accuracy and reliable expansion, even at maximum ranges. This bullet is slightly "hard" at 222 or 223 Remington velocities, but are especially well suited for velocities from 22-250 and 220 Swift cartridges. For handguns, while capable of producing traditional Sierra accuracy, this bullet must be considered too "hard" at handgun velocities for anything other than target applications. If your handgun will produce velocities greater than 3000 fps at the muzzle, the 45 grain and 50 grain bullets could be used for hunting varmints out to moderate ranges, but will not have explosive expansion.

    .25 Cal 70 Gr. BlitzKing

    , ,
Our 25cal 70gr BlitzKing #1605 was built for rapid expansion on small thin-skinned vermin. This performance comes from a precision made, thin match jacket, the same performance BlitzKings are known for. With the flat base, it also has potential as a precision match bullet with fans of the quarter bore that shoot closer ranges. It has potential from the 25-45 Sharps provided the magazine length is long enough for it to fit correctly and is also right at home in cartridges as fast as the 257 Weatherby Magnum. This bullet was introduced in 2011.
