.50 Cal 400 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , ,
Our 400gr JSP #5400 has a cannelure placement ideally suited for use from a 500 Smith & Wesson cartridge. It has a tough lead core made with a heavy antimony and a thick jacket designed for deep penetration on the largest of animals. Large game like moose or brown bear won’t be any issue for this bullet, but it may be too tough to give a reliable expansion quality through smaller animals. Revolvers have been the primary firearm to load this bullet into but it is equally at home in rifles chambered in this and other cartridges also. The meplat is wide enough to work well from a lever action using a tubular magazine, and because of the higher muzzle velocity, it will give a better expansion quality also. On that subject, it is literally a half inch hole even with no expansion and will take game animals with authority. This bullet was introduced in 2004. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. This 85 grain #8005 Round Nose SportsMaster bullet is for use in 30 caliber handguns only. The thin jacket and large exposed lead nose provide good expansion in varmints and small game at moderate handgun ranges when loaded and fired in cartridges, such as the 30 M1 Carbine and the 32-20 (in handguns with .308 inch bores for the 32-20 cartridge). It is an excellent selection for varmints and small game and has traditional Sierra accuracy for informal target practice. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. .50 Cal 350 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Our 350gr JHP #5350 was designed for use in the 500 Smith & Wesson with a cannelure placement ideally suited for this cartridge. It was designed with a large, deep hollow point to create expansion, for personal protection from vermin with ill intent, but it has since proven to be an accurate and tough bullet that hunters have come to rely on. They’ve been using this bullet successfully on a wide variety of animals from wild boar to big bears. Because it has such a wide meplat, it will also work safely from a tubular magazine if you happen to have one chambered in the 500. The faster velocity produced from a rifle length barrel will also give it the possibility of an expansion quality on pigs and whitetail sized game. This bullet was introduced in 2004. 44 Cal 180 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , ,
Designed for the hunter requiring accuracy, penetration and dependable expansion from a 44 Remington Magnum revolver, Sierra introduced the 180 grain #8600 in 1970. These bullets were upgraded with Sierra's PowerJacket in 1982. The dependable Jacketed Hollow Cavity and PowerJacket design makes these bullets extremely versatile. They are true magnum bullets, featuring a heavy jacket and 1 1/2% antimony core, yet they will expand reliably at 44 Special velocities. These bullets are extremely effective on up to deer-size game. Because these bullets have flat noses and cannelures, they may be roll-crimped for use in revolvers and all rifles with tubular magazines. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. 44 Cal 300 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , , ,
Designed for hunting, specifically for large bears, and for Handgun Metallic Silhouette competition with magnum calibers, this 300 grain #8630 Jacketed Soft Point bullet was introduced in 1989. Its construction ensures deep penetration on the largest game due to a heavy jacket and extremely hard 6% antimony core. This is one of the heaviest bullets Sierra produces and should be used in a 44 Magnum, 445 Super Mag, or a similar cartridge. It has an established reputation in the game fields of North America and is considered to be the bullet for hunting dangerous game with a handgun. It is not, however, recommended for deer-size game because of its hardness. Because this bullet has a cannelure and can be roll-crimped, it may be loaded in cartridges and used in modern rifles with tubular magazines. When seated to the cannelure, this bullet will have an overall length that does not feed well in lever action rifles. Recommended OAL of 1.735" in 44 Magnum. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .22 Cal (0.223) 40 Gr. Hornet

    , ,
For rifles, this bullet was formed with a thin-walled jacket and soft core in the traditional roundnose shape for cartridges such as the 22 Hornet, 22 K-Hornet, or 218 Bee at muzzle velocities in the 2600 to 2900 fps range. The thin jacket and rounded nose of this bullet provides outstanding accuracy and effective expansion on small varmints at these modest velocities. The bullet is ideal for barrels with 1x16” twist rates and muzzle velocities that require a “short” bullet for proper stability. It is also effective in rifles firing medium-capacity cartridges, such as the 222 Remington and 223 Remington, for target and varmint shooting at muzzle velocities up to 3500 fps. For handguns, this bullet with a thin jacket and lots of exposed lead is ideal for all centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. It will range in expansion from being a varmint bullet at Hornet handgun velocities to an explosive “Blitz” style Varminter at 223 Remington velocities. The bullets with a round nose shape are capable of outstanding accuracy, especially at short to moderate ranges.

.338 Cal 215 Gr. SBT GameKing

    , ,
These bullets have been designed for the 338 Winchester Magnum cartridge. Controlled, but reliable expansion and deep penetration are assured by a heavy double-tapered jacket and hard core. The Sierra Spitzer Boat Tail shape assures a flat trajectory, minimum wind sensitivity and precise accuracy at long range for both bullets. The 215 grain #2610 has been designed as a higher-velocity, lighter bullet for the 338 Winchester Magnum, although it is considered light for the 340 Weatherby Magnum. This bullet is suitable for medium through elk-sized game. The #2610 bullet will reliably withstand 338 Winchester Magnum velocities. Shooters using the 338-06 or similar cartridge must keep loads with the 215 grain #2610 bullet near maximum velocity levels for reliable expansion. Hunting rifles have shown extraordinary accuracy with this bullet in spite of the robust recoil of maximum loads.
