10mm 165 Gr. JHP Sports Master

    , , , , ,
These bullets are designed to meet even the most demanding shooter's needs. This bullet was introduced in 1992. The International Practical Shooting Confederation needs only 1000 fps muzzle velocity with the 165 grain #8445 to make "major." These power factors are easily attained with the heavier bullets in the 10mm Auto or 40 S&W. One also can use any of these bullets in an "old timer," the 38-40 Winchester (38 WCF), made popular in both single-action revolvers and rifles for Cowboy Shooting. However, these bullets are not legal for competition. Special provisions may be required for crimping (since these bullets have no cannelure for roll crimping) and expanding ball size in reloading dies for the 38-40. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .243 Cal 55 Gr. BlitzKing

    , , ,
For rifles, these bullets are designed for explosive expansion in varmints and small game and with accuracy characteristic of the MatchKing bullets. The nose tips of these bullets are made of a proprietary acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tips improve the ballistic coefficient over the traditional flatbase spitzer bullet design. The 55 grain #1502 has a flatbase. The jackets are thin for enhanced accuracy and explosive expansion, but are capable of withstanding high velocities. These bullets are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4000 fps. For handguns chambered in 6mm TCU, 6mm PPC, 6mm Benchrest Remington, these BlitzKing bullets are superbly accurate and have devastating expansion on varmints and small game at velocities achievable in these handgun cartridges in single-shot pistols. The #1502 was introduced in 1999.

    .22 Cal (0.223) 45 Gr. Hornet

    , , ,
For rifles, this bullet is formed with a thin-walled jacket and soft core in the traditional roundnose shape for cartridges such as the 22 Hornet, 22 K-Hornet, or 218 Bee at muzzle velocities in the 2600 to 2900 fps range. The thin jacket and rounded nose of this bullet provides outstanding accuracy and effective expansion on small varmints at these modest velocities. This bullet is ideal for barrels with 1x16" twist rates and muzzle velocities that require a "short" bullet for proper stability. It is also effective in rifles firing medium-capacity cartridges, such as the 222 Remington and 223 Remington, for target and varmint shooting at muzzle velocities up to 3500 fps. For handguns, this bullet with a thin jacket and lots of exposed lead is ideal for all centerfire cartridges in 22 caliber. It will range in expansion from being a varmint bullet at Hornet handgun velocities to an explosive "Blitz" style Varminter at 223 Remington velocities. The bullets with a round nose shape are capable of outstanding accuracy, especially at short to moderate ranges.

.243 Cal 85 Gr. HPBT GameKing

    , ,
For rifles chambered in 6mm cartridges, the #1530 85 grain hollow point boat tail bullet has proven to be highly effective on medium game, such as deer and antelope, and it is outstanding in this application. It is one of the best all-around bullets for rifles chambered in 6mm Remington or 243 Winchester. It is one of the most recommended bullets for varmints such as prairie dogs, groundhogs, coyotes, to medium game such as deer and antelope. Shooters using any rifle in the entire range of 6mm cartridges will find this to be an excellent bullet. This bullet shoots like a MatchKing and expands like a hunting bullet. In handguns, the 85 grain #1530 Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet is nearly ideal for all shooting applications. In cartridges from the 6mm BR up to the larger wildcats chambered in the Remington XP-100 and other strong single-shot handguns, this may be the best single bullet. When used with smaller-capacity cases at close range it would be suitable for varmints. This is a fairly "hard" bullet when fired from a handgun but a good choice for most applications and conditions.

.243 Cal 85 Gr. SPT Varminter

    , ,
In rifles, this 85 grain Spitzer bullet has an excellent flat base design with high-velocity capabilities for all 6mm cartridges. This bullet features a rigidly controlled internal taper and jacket thickness engineered for expansion on varmints and small game. This game bullet is suitable for small deer and antelope, but it must be used with proper shot placement. In handguns, this bullet is too "hard" for use on field game because of limited velocities from all but the largest wildcat cartridges. However, this bullet delivers outstanding accuracy in long-range target competition and high momentum downrange for silhouette competition it works best in handgun barrels with standard twist rates.
