270 Cal 115 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
Developed specifically for the 6.8mm SPC round, Sierra's 115 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail added yet another option to the entire range of .277" caliber cartridges. A good ballistic shape combined with relatively light weight provides terrific velocity potential. These features make the 115 gr. MatchKing® an ideal choice for target shooting at short to medium ranges. Suitable for cartridges from the 6.8mm SPC through the .270 Weatherby Magnum. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

270 Cal 135 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
This 135 grain MatchKing® bullet #1833 is the heaviest match grade bullet currently available in Sierra's line in 270 caliber. Designed for long-range accuracy, a long ogive point with small meplat and a boat tail shape give this bullet outstanding "low drag" characteristics in this caliber for maximum efficiency at extreme ranges. This bullet is appropriate for the 270 Winchester, 270 Weatherby Magnum, and the 270 Winchester Short Magnum.
