    .243 Cal 70 Gr. BlitzKing

    , , ,
For rifles, these bullets are designed for explosive expansion in varmints and small game and with accuracy characteristic of the MatchKing bullets. The nose tips of these bullets are made of a proprietary acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tips improve the ballistic coefficient over the traditional flatbase spitzer bullet design. This bullet has a boat tail to further increase the ballistic coefficient. The jackets are thin for enhanced accuracy and explosive expansion, but are capable of withstanding high velocities. These bullets are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4000 fps. For handguns chambered in 6mm TCU, 6mm PPC, 6mm Benchrest Remington, these BlitzKing bullets are superbly accurate and have devastating expansion on varmints and small game at velocities achievable in these handgun cartridges in single-shot pistols. The #1507 was introduced in 1999.

.243 Cal 95 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
The 6mm 95 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet was designed to fill the need for a lighter weight alternative to the Sierra 6mm 107 MatchKing. This bullet is a popular choice for across the course and long range target customers. Sierra built this bullet off our ever popular 6mm 107 HPBT MatchKing design with a long ogive, small meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce wind-drift. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x9” or faster. The #1537 was introduced in 2008.

.264 Cal 107 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
The 6.5mm/.264 inch bore has recently enjoyed a resurgence of interest. Several rifle manufacturers currently produce 6.5x55mm sporters, exposing a new generation of shooters to this famous old Scandinavian service and hunting cartridge. Competitive HighPower and Silhouette shooters have also shown great interest in the 6.5mm bore size. The 107 grain 6.5mm HPBT bullet #1715 is the lightest of the 6.5mm MatchKing®. It is appropriate for the magnum cartridges as well as smaller capacity cartridges in this caliber.

The 120 grain #1725 bullet is designed for BenchRest and HighPower competitions to 600 yards in medium capacity 6.5mm rifle cartridges. In handguns, the 120 grain #1725 MatchKing® bullet has been very successful on the silhouette range and has proven itself on other targets. Because of its high ballistic coefficient, it delivers high momentum downrange and has low sensitivity to crosswinds. It has been the choice of handgun shooters worldwide. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

.284 Cal 183 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
Shooters around the world will appreciate the accuracy and extreme long range performance of Sierra's 7mm 183 grain HPBT (#1983). A sleek 27 caliber elongated ogive and a final meplat reducing operation (pointing) provide an increased ballistic coefficient for optimal wind resistance and velocity retention. To ensure precise bullet to bore alignment, a unique bearing surface to ogive junction uses the same 1.5 degree angle commonly found in match rifle chamber throats. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz BlitzKing, or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x8” or faster. This bullet was introduced in October 2015.

9mm 115 Gr. FMJ Tournament Master

    , ,
There are many different 9mm cartridges in the world, but not all of them use bullets of .355 inch diameter. Be sure that the handgun cartridge for which you are loading uses .355 inch diameter bullets. The main design criterion for these bullets was reliable feeding in semi-auto handguns, and they achieve that to perfection. The 115 grain #8115 was announced in 1984. While reliable and positive feeding characteristics were the main objectives, traditional Sierra accuracy has also been maintained. These bullets will give exceptional reliability and outstanding accuracy, and have been chosen by champion shooters of 9mm handguns worldwide.

    .284 Cal 160 Gr. TMK

    , ,
Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient. Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms. The #7660 was introduced in November 2015.
