.45 Cal 300 Gr. JSP Sports Master

    , , ,
Designed for hunting, specifically for large bears, and for Handgun Metallic Silhouette competition with magnum calibers, this 300 grain #8830 Jacketed Soft Point bullet was introduced in 2004. Its construction ensures deep penetration on the largest game due to a heavy jacket and extremely hard 6% / 4% core. This is the heaviest bullet Sierra produces in the 45cal pistol lineup and should be used in a 45 Colt if penetration is a must, and it can work in the 454 Casull or similar cartridges easily. It has an established reputation in the game fields of North America and is considered to be the bullet for hunting dangerous game with a handgun. It is not, however, recommended for deer-size game because of its hardness. Because this bullet has a cannelure and can be roll-crimped, it may be loaded in cartridges and used in modern rifles with tubular magazines. When seated to the cannelure, this bullet can have an overall length that may not feed well in some lever action rifles with a shorter carrier. Recommended OAL of 1.650” in the 45 Colt and 1.755” in the 454 Casull.

44 Cal 210 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , , ,
These bullets were designed for the hunter requiring accuracy, penetration and dependable expansion from a 44 Remington Magnum revolver. In 1982, Sierra introduced the 210 grain #8620 bullet with PowerJacket. The dependable Jacketed Hollow Cavity and PowerJacket design makes these bullets extremely versatile. They are true magnum bullets, featuring a heavy jacket and 1 1/2% antimony core, yet they will expand reliably at 44 Special velocities. These bullets are extremely effective on up to deer-size game. The 210 grain #8620 bullets are intended for larger, more tenacious game, but also are effective for deer-size game. Because these bullets have flat noses and cannelures, they may be roll-crimped for use in revolvers and all rifles with tubular magazines. To order by phone, please call 1-888-223-3006 *Sierra Bullets does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .45 Cal 240 Gr. JHC Sports Master

    , , ,
The 240 grain #8820 Jacketed Hollow Cavity SportsMaster bullet was introduced in 1977 in response to requests for a "standard" weight bullet for the 45 Colt cartridge. The skived PowerJacket was added in 1984, making this bullet an excellent choice for 45 Colt vintage or modern handguns. Vintage models usually had a .454 inch diameter bore. However, modern Colt, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Taurus, and most other handguns, including replicas of the Colt Single Action Army, will have barrels with a .451 inch bore. This bullet can be used in vintage 45 Colt handguns, but sizing cases may require special attention in older reloading dies. The 240 grain #8820 bullet has a cannelure for roll crimping, and it may be loaded into 45 Colt cartridges to be used in rifles with tubular magazines. This bullet is very effective for hunting because of the reliable expansion of the hollow cavity PowerJacket design and trademark Sierra accuracy. The reliable expansion characteristics of this bullet make it suitable for cartridges ranging from the 45 ACP up through moderate loads (up to 1400 fps) in the 454 Casull for either hunting or target competition. What you are purchasing are bullets only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. .375 Cal 350 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
This bullet was designed for a custom long-range application and is the largest MatchKing® we produce. We knew the 11 caliber ogive, 9 degree boat tail and Sierra's famously forgiving ogive would make this bullet a big hit with our big bore long range customers. While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x12” or faster.

    .243 Cal 70 Gr. BlitzKing

    , , ,
For rifles, these bullets are designed for explosive expansion in varmints and small game and with accuracy characteristic of the MatchKing bullets. The nose tips of these bullets are made of a proprietary acetyl resin compound, and the sharp tips improve the ballistic coefficient over the traditional flatbase spitzer bullet design. This bullet has a boat tail to further increase the ballistic coefficient. The jackets are thin for enhanced accuracy and explosive expansion, but are capable of withstanding high velocities. These bullets are designed to be fired at muzzle velocities up to 4000 fps. For handguns chambered in 6mm TCU, 6mm PPC, 6mm Benchrest Remington, these BlitzKing bullets are superbly accurate and have devastating expansion on varmints and small game at velocities achievable in these handgun cartridges in single-shot pistols. The #1507 was introduced in 1999.

.264 Cal 142 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , ,
The 6.5mm/.264 inch bore has recently enjoyed a resurgence of interest. Several rifle manufacturers currently produce 6.5x55mm sporters, exposing a new generation of shooters to this famous old Scandinavian service and hunting cartridge. Competitive HighPower and Silhouette shooters have also shown great interest in the 6.5mm bore size. The 142 grain #1742 bullet has a longer ogive radius than the 140 grain #1740 bullet and thus a higher ballistic coefficient with less sensitivity to crosswinds. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x8” or faster.

.243 Cal 95 Gr. HPBT MatchKing

    , , ,
The 6mm 95 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet was designed to fill the need for a lighter weight alternative to the Sierra 6mm 107 MatchKing. This bullet is a popular choice for across the course and long range target customers. Sierra built this bullet off our ever popular 6mm 107 HPBT MatchKing design with a long ogive, small meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce wind-drift. This bullet requires a barrel twist rate of 1x9” or faster. The #1537 was introduced in 2008.
